Radically care for yourself while caring for others

What is a care planning session? This 75-minute session is designed to support the overworked in (1) clarifying their values and needs, (2) figuring out what care looks and feels like for them (including practices, places, people and a playlist), and (3) creating a plan that will help them to start prioritizing their well-being. What can I expect during this session? Our session will begin with a grounding breath and check-in. Clients will have space to share what brought them to the session and process what's present for them. After having space to share, we will collaboratively build a personalized care plan and wellness toolkit centering your values, needs and stories. Who is this for? This is for the overworked: Black women, therapists, educators, social workers, crises workers, activists, youth workers, non-profit leaders, community advocates, etc. I am holding space for the community leaders who are often advocating and caring for others. What are past clients saying? "As a psychotherapist, it felt difficult at first to switch roles and turn the focus back onto myself. Keonna provided such a caring and compassionate space for me to explore my needs! Her reflections and suggestions were as constructive as they were nurturing. Her contributions are necessary. So grateful for her presence!" - Katy, Therapist at Trans Lifeline Important: Care planning sessions are gender affirming and accessibility-centered care spaces.
